MEET THE OWNERS!
Formed in San Diego, CA by Alexa and Sam, Lumpia City was created with a desire to merge cultures together and be an inclusive space for everyone. Their humble beginnings started by selling their fusion style lumpia out of a pop-up at local farmers markets and microbreweries. Since then, Lumpia City has relocated to Milwaukee, WI where they remain determined to bring their Filipino-American fusion food to mainstream markets, while always staying true to the foundation that Lumpia City was built on.
WHAT IS LUMPIA?
Lumpia (pronounced LOOM-pee-uh) is a Filipino appetizer that is comparable to an egg roll. The thin, crispy wrapper gives a delicious crunch to every bite!
Pictured is a lumpia we created for our Pride Box, Ube Boobeh! We created a sweet, soft cookie bar and paired it with a thick ube jam to make a gooey center.
Our lumpia is known to complement a wide array of various flavors and styles of food. Steering away from tradition, we create unique, fusion-style recipes that set a new standard for appetizers!
